Two of my favorite things, trees and kitties. I love how the white cat developed. There's something ghostly about him. I'm off to dip myself in Lake Ontario. Have a happy weekend everyone!

We took it easy this past weekend and went for a long drive in the Greenbelt. I wish I was still there. As much as there is to enjoy in the city, I'm still a rural gal at heart.
I learned it's not easy to photograph bubbles. It's a race to zero in on them while they wobble about. Then when you get one dead in your sights, it pops! Great fun though.
A lil' drawing of my neurotic cat beast. Despite being a sweet and clever critter, he wears a perpetually stunned expression, leading house guests to believe he's nuts. He is. He fits right in.
When I wasn't horsing around in the water this weekend, I was on land experimenting with lenses. I appreciate crisp, meticulously lit photos. But I love dreamy, blurry ones too.
I spent most of my time this week hiding indoors (sissy) from the heat wave. But it all worked out, because it gave me time to finish my new print. It's called "Black Bird" and you can find it here.
